WHAT IS THE BAIBEL PROPHECY?

Bible prophecy is a promise from God about what is certain to happen in the future.  God has given us many promises concerning Israel, the Anointed One and End Times (The Last Days).  Many people believe prophecy is very general and obscure.  However, we must not confuse human prophecy with divine prophecy. Human prophecy must be vague because it is impossible for a human to accurately predict specific events hundreds and thousands of years into the future without being wrong even once.

In order to be a prophet from God, you must prophesy.  If you claim to be a prophet yet fail to prophesy, you are a false prophet.  If you attempt to prophesy and are wrong just once, you are also a false prophet.  Several self-proclaimed "Christian" organizations who study another book of faith besides the Bible are exposed as false by God's own standard for his prophets, which is perfection.  Several world religions have books of faith which contain miniscule amounts of prophecy or none at all.  Because of this fact, these religions are immediately disqualified as being divinely inspired by God.

What is the Canon?

The word "canon" means "standard" or "rule."  It is the list of authoritative and inspired Scriptures.  Different religions have different canons. Most modern Protestants, and Protestant churches historically, accept exactly sixty-six books, thirty-nine books from Hebrew, which they call the Old Testament, and twenty-seven books written in Greek, which they call the New Testament. Protestants use and accept these books; therefore, there are sixty-six books in the Protestant canon.
Roman Catholics include fifteen more books or parts of books, and that is their canon; Greek Orthodox churches use most of these books, and these comprise their canon. The Jewish tradition is that of the Hebrew Bible only, of course, corresponding to the thirty-nine books of the Protestants. East Syrian Christians include fewer books than other Christians in the New Testament, while the Ethiopian churches use quite a few more books in both the Old Testament and New Testament.
The third American President, Thomas Jefferson, questioning the miracles of the New Testament while approving some of Jesus' moral sentiments, produced a thin volume which is called "The Jefferson Bible," edited literally with a razor and paste. In Islam, their inspired book is called the Quran (Koran).

WHO ARE THE AUTHORS OF THE BIBLE?

The Bible’s unity is due to the fact that, ultimately, it has one Author—God Himself. The Bible is “God-breathed” “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16).” But the human authors wrote exactly what God wanted them to write, and the result was the perfect and holy Word of God “The Words of the LOAD are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. (Psalm 12:6);” “For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke God as they were carried along by the holy spirit.(2 Peter 1:21)”. About 40 different human authors contributed to the Bible, which was written over a period of about 1500 years. The authors were kings, fishermen, priests, government officials, farmers, shepherds, and doctors. From all this diversity comes an incredible unity, with common themes woven throughout.
